Grandma Lyon's Carmel Corn

1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup Karo syrup (dark is better)
3/4 cup water

Cook all ingredients until it forms a soft ball.

Add:
1 tsp baking soda
1 cube butter
2 tsp vanilla

Stir into 2-3 large bowls.

Optional: Spread popcorn on cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
