Sugar Cookie Recipe

2 cups sugar

1 cup butter

2 eggs

1 cup sour cream

2 t vanilla

5 cups flour

¾ t salt

2 t baking soda

Cream together the sugar and butter. Add the eggs, sour cream and vanilla. In a separate bowl combine the flour, salt and baking soda. Slowly stir the second bowl (dry mixture) into the first bowl (liquid mixture).

Bake at 425 for 5 minutes- do not brown

Cream Cheese Frosting

3 ounces cream cheese, softened

¼ c butter, softened

½ t vanilla

2 cups powdered sugar

Food coloring
